WHEN: June 6, 2016

TIME:  Doors open 6:30pm.  Meeting begins at 7:00pm.

WHERE: Community Room, Campbell Library

WHAT:  The purpose of this meeting is to familiarize Downtown Campbell residents, who are thinking about installing solar panels on their homes, with the costs and benefits of solar panels. We will have some printed information available on incentives, rebates, and tax credits, and the process required on how to hire and work with the right contractor,

We will have two featured speakers: A solar contractor from Freedom Solar in Campbell, and (newly added) a downtown resident who added solar panels to his home a few years ago. Come and hear what these people have to say about the pros and cons of adding solar panels to your home. There will be time for questions.

Light refreshments will be served beginning at 6:30 PM. Hope to see you there!

WHEN: May 3, 2016

TIME:  6:00pm.

WHERE: Campbell City Hall, Council Chamber - 70 N. First Street, Campbell, CA

WHAT: A study session is set for Tuesday, May 3, at 6:00PM in the city hall chambers to discuss conceptual plans for mixed use commercial/residential development of the old Paul Del Grande property on E. Campbell Ave at Gilman. Since this is a study session, no decisions will be made, but it is the first chance for public input. If you saw the conceptual drawings a few weeks ago in the Silicon Valley Business Journal, the developer is proposing a project that does not meet the East Campbell Avenue Master Plan. The buildings are over the allowable height, they are massed at the sidewalk and would create exactly what so many residents fought to avoid when the East Campbell Master Plan was adopted a few years ago. If you cannot attend the meeting, you can email your comments directly to the city at: cindym@cityofcampbell.com
